Prototyping & Sampling

Ceramic prototyping and sampling are where concept becomes a physical product. We coordinate prototype development with selected Portuguese factories, ensuring that form, dimensions, finishes, glaze direction and functional requirements reflect the defined product specifications and intended market positioning.

Each sample is assessed under real production conditions for proportion, finish quality, technical behaviour and manufacturing feasibility. We manage revisions with precision, refining details, adjusting specifications and improving production consistency before commercial approval and production confirmation.

Initial prototypes validate form, dimensions, material behaviour, glaze response and overall product balance. This stage allows us to identify technical inconsistencies early, test design decisions in practice and refine the product before commercial sampling begins.

Accurate prototypes reduce production risk, strengthen factory alignment and prevent costly corrections later in the manufacturing process.

Once technical validation is complete, we oversee sales samples and confirmation samples to ensure full consistency between approved prototypes and final production standards. Materials, glaze finishes, colours, decorative details and overall execution are checked carefully before production is released.

Our objective is simple: what is approved is what gets produced, with clarity, control and reliable execution throughout ceramic manufacturing in Portugal.
